Rise for Special Children
Rise for Special Children’s purpose and goal is to help special needs children
further their knowledge and education for free, and are therefore depending on
community grants and donations to finance our programs. Children with special
needs acquire more assistant in daycare and in school activities in order to
succeed, and that is why and where we come in. Today there is a gap in our
society and communities when it comes to children with special needs in daycares
and schools that need to be filled.

anniversary of her gallery located at

Rebecca's art is very diverse. She creates what she sees. When Rebecca looks at, what many people call junk, she may see all kinds of things - it's very much like seeing faces or objects or landscapes in the clouds. Empty space is filled when Rebecca sees it. Then she either takes found objects, or raw metal, or both and often combines them with paint, water, rock, glass, fire or any other material to help her create her vision. Rebecca's attempt is not to try and control - but to let the visions and materials control themselves, her work and her.

Julie Lazarus
Julie Lazarus' most recent body of work includes oils on canvas and hand-blown
glass vessels created during her recent visit to Venice. Julie Lazarus returned
to Venice in July, marking her seventh year to work alongside master glassblowers
on Murano, the small Venetian island recognized for its hand-blown glass. The
glass studio is renowned for hand-blown creations that interpret the painter's
vision, in this case Ms. Lazarus' vibrant paintings inspired by the light and
the color of the landscape she experienced.

Since 1992 there has been a wonderful secret in the hospital district of Fort
Worth. It is the fabulous King Tut Egyptian Restaurant. Fortunately (?) it will
be a secret no longer as Amin Mahmoud has doubled the size of his establishment
and erects this website on the Internet. At King Tut, each meal is prepared to
order, so some meals take longer to prepare. This is a good thing however since
each dish is totally fresh and served at just the right temperature. King Tut
has really been discovered by the Fort Worth diners so reservations are
recommended (but not required) on Friday and Saturday evenings.
